Pastor and Mrs. Davison’s duty station in Germany, marked a very important turn in their lives. It was in a small church in Germany, Full Gospel Holiness COGIC, Leonard Trawick, Pastor, where they accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. They made the decision to walk down the aisle together to accept Jesus Christ. It also marked an important point in their history, when they both received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost on the same night at a church in Frankfurt, Germany called Camp King COGIC. Prior to leaving Germany, Pastor Davison received the call to be a Minister of the Gospel.
God had plans for these young people. He sent them to Fort Riley, KS where Pastor Davison drove each day from Salina to Fort Riley. In March of 1992, Pastor Davison met Clarence R. Williams, Jr. at a District Meeting. This meeting was not by incident, but by divine appointment. This meeting marked another very vital point in history. The beginning of Living Word Church, now Living Word of Christ Christian Center. Both Pastor & Mrs. Davison are charter members of the church. The history of the Davison’s in ministry goes on and on.
In March of 1996, Stephen & Margaret Davison were appointed as Pastor and Co-Pastor of Living Word of Christ Church in Salina, It has been
eleven years of ministry now, and they are praising God, and rejoicing knowing that Jesus Christ is Lord. God has taken them to a higher level, and we rejoice with them this day and forever.
